Terms of Use.
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Emivo, including our website, applications, Creator Program, content, and related services.
Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using Emivo, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use Emivo.
Certain features, programs, or services may be subject to additional terms. Where additional terms apply, they will form part of your agreement with Emivo for those features or services.
About Emivo
Emivo is a digital entertainment platform focused on short-form serialized stories, including creator-produced and AI-assisted content.
Emivo may provide features for discovering, watching, publishing, submitting, managing, and interacting with digital content.
Features available through Emivo may change as the platform develops.
Eligibility
You must meet the minimum legal age required to use online services in your country or have any necessary permission from a parent or legal guardian.
By using Emivo, you represent that you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms.
User Accounts
Some Emivo features may require you to create or sign into an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs through your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, or create accounts for abusive or fraudulent purposes.
You should notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
The Emivo Creator Program
Emivo may operate a Creator Program that allows eligible creators to apply to publish or submit original short-form series and related content.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the Creator Program.
Emivo may review applications based on factors such as content quality, originality, creative experience, platform suitability, technical capabilities, and other program requirements.
We may accept, reject, pause, or discontinue Creator Program applications at our discretion, subject to applicable law.
Creator Submissions
Creators may be able to submit series, episodes, artwork, descriptions, promotional materials, or other content for review and publication on Emivo.
By submitting content, you represent that you have the rights, permissions, and authority necessary to submit that content and allow Emivo to use it as described in these Terms.
Emivo may review submitted content before publication and may:
- Approve the submission;
- Reject the submission;
- Request changes;
- Delay publication;
- Remove previously published content where appropriate.
Submission does not guarantee publication or continued availability on Emivo.
AI-Generated and AI-Assisted Content
Emivo is designed to support modern storytelling workflows, including content created or assisted using artificial intelligence tools.
Creators remain responsible for ensuring that content they submit complies with applicable laws, these Terms, third-party rights, and the terms of any AI tools or services used to create that content.
You must not knowingly submit content generated using tools, assets, voices, images, characters, or other materials that you do not have the necessary rights or permissions to use.
The use of AI does not remove your responsibility for the content you submit.
Ownership of Creator Content
As between you and Emivo, you retain ownership of the original content you create and submit, subject to any rights belonging to third parties and any separate creator agreement you may enter into with Emivo.
Submitting content to Emivo does not automatically transfer ownership of that content to Emivo.
However, in order to operate and promote the platform, you grant Emivo a non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, stream, format, adapt for technical purposes, and promote content that you submit and that is accepted for use on Emivo.
The specific commercial rights, monetization terms, exclusivity arrangements, revenue sharing, or other creator rights may be governed by separate Creator Program terms or agreements.
Emivo Content and Intellectual Property
The Emivo name, branding, interface, software, design, graphics, platform technology, and Emivo-owned content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except where expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Emivo-owned materials without authorization.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Emivo platform or Emivo intellectual property.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Emivo to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations;
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other third-party rights;
- Upload malicious software, harmful code, or content designed to interfere with the platform;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, databases, or infrastructure;
- Manipulate platform systems, metrics, reviews, recommendations, or creator programs;
- Engage in fraud, impersonation, spam, harassment, or abusive behavior;
- Use automated systems to scrape, extract, or reproduce Emivo content without authorization.
Content Standards
Content submitted to Emivo must comply with our platform standards and applicable laws.
We may restrict or remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, infringes third-party rights, creates security or legal risks, or is otherwise unsuitable for the platform.
Additional creator and content guidelines may be introduced as Emivo develops.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Emivo may introduce paid features, subscriptions, digital access products, or other monetized services.
Pricing, billing frequency, renewal conditions, cancellation rights, and applicable taxes will be presented before a purchase is completed.
Purchases made through third-party platforms, such as mobile application stores, may also be subject to the payment and refund policies of those platforms.
Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to Emivo where reasonably necessary to protect users, creators, the platform, or third parties.
This may include situations involving violations of these Terms, fraud, security threats, repeated infringement, abusive behavior, or unlawful use.
Where appropriate and required by applicable law, users may be provided with notice or an opportunity to address certain violations.
Third-Party Services
Emivo may rely on or link to third-party services, platforms, infrastructure, authentication systems, payment providers, analytics services, AI tools, or websites.
Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Emivo is not responsible for services that are independently operated by third parties.
Service Availability
We work to keep Emivo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the platform will always operate without interruption, delay, errors, or technical problems.
Features may be modified, added, removed, tested, or temporarily unavailable as the platform develops.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Emivo and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that all content will be accurate, available, suitable for every user, or free from errors.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Emivo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses resulting from the use of or inability to use the platform.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Emivo develops, new features are introduced, or legal requirements change.
When these Terms are updated, the "Last updated" date on this page will be changed.
If changes materially affect your rights, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law.
